Registration required
In a ZOOM meeting on May 3, 2021 at 7:30 pm, Tom Dunn will moderate a program with Richard Roberts about the growth of Ramapo College facilities from a Black Angus cattle ranch to the first-class undergraduate college that it is 50 years later.
Dick Roberts started with the College in its infancy and, after the College got construction autonomy, was responsible over his career for implementing the planning, design, construction, renovating and financing of buildings on the campus. He retired as Associate Vice President for Administration and Finance.
Tom Dunn is an amateur historian who, as a citizen of Mahwah, encouraged the College Trustees to locate their campus here. He later became a Trustee of the College and a Member of the Board of Governors of the Ramapo College Foundation.
The program will feature the award-winning academic buildings, residence halls, performance venues, and physical education facilities that today serve 6000 students most of whom live in New Jersey.
Hosted by the Mahwah Museum. This program is free but donations are welcome.
