Mahwah Museum Exhibits
The Mahwah Museum presents a variety of rotating and permanent exhibits which are open to the public.
2020-2021 Rotating Exhibits:
- A College Comes to Mahwah: Ramapo College, 1965-1975 – Detailing the birth and early years of of Ramapo College.
- Palisades Amusement Park – In Miniature – A detailed 1930s miniature replica of the iconic amusement park.
- Revealed: Women’s Fight for the Right to Vote – On the 19th Amendment and the movement which brought the vote to women. Cover artwork by Amy Silberkleit, “1918” Lithograph.
- The Lee Vold Gallery: Catching the Daily – Photographs selected from our extensive collection of Lee Vold’s work are rotated annually
Rotating exhibits are researched and mounted by museum trustees and volunteers, using artifacts, photos and documents which have been donated to the museum archives, or loaned to us by individuals and other institutions.
The Mahwah Museum exhibits are open to visitors September through June.
The Old Station Museum is usually open June through September, but is now closed for restoration and repair.
Admission to Mahwah Museum is $5 per person. For children 18 and under and Mahwah Museum members, admission is free.
