Robert A. Scott becomes President of Ramapo College. He replaces Acting President Sidney Silverman who served after the resignation of founding President George T. Potter. Scott came to Ramapo from the post of director of academic affairs at the Indiana Commission for Higher Education. He is a former Professor of Anthropology at Cornell University. (Bristow)
