This Day in History: 1947-12-30

Members of Mahwah’s two volunteer Fire Departments will meet jointly to nominate the Fire Chief to be recommended to the Township Committee for appointment. It is hoped, that a suitable candidate can be found, so that the feud between the two companies can be lessoned. (Bristow)
