This Day in History: 1943-01-21

A Township Ordinance set new salary rates for various officials in local government.  The rates of payment were unchanged from the previous year.  They called for $600 for the Tax Assessor $1,000 for the Clerk, $1,200 for the Tax Collector, $2,000 per year for the Superintendent of Roads and Playgrounds.
