In the closest election in years in the Township, James Glasgow Sr. was elected once more to the Township Committee by a majority of 72 votes. Glasgow received 313 votes in District #1 and 224 votes in District #2 for a total of 537. His Republican opponent, Charles N. Feldmann polled 465. Over 60% of the registered voters turned out – 1,011 voters out of the 1.676 registered voters. (Bristow)
