A local man was fined $10 and $2 costs for reckless driving by Recorder Frank J. Young. Officer Ted Wickham testified that he had observed the car going at a high rate of speed on Island Road. When the driver realized that the police car was following he turned out his lights so that the license plate could not be seen. When the suspect told d the Judge that he was scheduled for induction into the Army shortly, the fine was suspended.
