A solemn High Mass was celebrated at the Don Bosco Polish Institute on Franklin TPK. to mark the 100th Anniversary of St. Don Bosco’s work with boys. The Silesian Fathers institute this school for polish boys, which is the only one in the United States and was founded in 1915.Preventative, rather than repressive disciple is used in school in accordance with Don Bosco’s teachings. Don Bosco met with his first boy on the Feast Of the Immaculate Conception, December 8, 1841 in Assisi, Italy. The reverend C.J. Moskal, was the Director having recently replaced Father Robert Wieczorek, the first Director of the school.(Bristow)
