At the regular School Board meeting, it was revealed that all of the teachers had been offered new contracts for the coming year. Supervising Principal Robert C. Fagan received an increase of $200 and raises of $50 were given to those teachers at minimum salary, or who had not had a raise in several years or who were deemed to be underpaid. The school nurse, Florence Gates and the school doctor. Dr. Liddy were retained at the same salary as were all of the school janitors. (Bristow)
