This Day in History: 1935-06-11
All Ramsey School District teachers appeared before President John Y. Dator, a notary public, to swear to support the Constitution and Government of the United States. A charge that there were a number of “Reds” in the State who should not have been allowed to teach without such an oath led the Legislature to pass legislation requiring the loyalty oath. (Bristow)
