Eagle Scout Elwood Palma returned from spending two weeks at Camp No-Be-Bo-Sco as a handicraft instructor. For his work he received an instructor’s badge. He would seem to have been Mahwah’s first Eagle Scout, although he was not listed as a member of the local Troop 50. (Bristow)
