This Day in History: 1934-03-13
The makings of custard for the entire population of the Township spilled onto Route 2 at Spring Street in Ramsey when two trucks collided early in the morning. A Borden Farms milk truck, driven by Edward Morbeck collided with an egg truck driven by Peter A. Carey of St. Patrick’s Villa, Harriman, NY. 250 quarts of milk were mixed with a quantity of eggs. If a bread truck had come along at the wrong moment we could have all had French toast.
