On the opening day of hunting season, many local nimrods were in the fields, in search of a buck. Among those to go out were Mr. and Mrs. Harry Breen. Late in the day, Mrs. Breen fired the first shot in the party and brought down a buck, weighing more than 200 lbs. Later Mr. Breen got his , but it was reported to be a smaller specimen. Neither realized, that the other had succeeded in bringing home venison. (Bristow)
