In its regular weekly ad in the Ramsey Journal the Mahwah Bottling Company stressed dark beer and mixers this week. They had four brands of ginger ale: Canada Dry, Cantrell & Cochrane, Cliquot Club and White Star, as well as White Rock soda. Their dark beers were Trommers, Rupperts and something called Sprattler and Mennells “Paterson Brew.” They could be easily reached by phone at Suffern 28.
