The two boys who are accused of having broken into and ransacked the Mahwah station on January 3rd were arrested in Jersey City and taken to Hackensack Jail. Walter Zalinski (Zabriskie in the original article) of Jersey City and Edward Meyers of Union City have also been accused of eating one of My. Havermeyer’s prize chickens, and breaking into mail sacks.
[They pleaded guilty and were sent to the Mahwah Reformatory.]
