This Day in History: 1916-03-22

Roads in Darlington are nearly impassable.  Drifts 4′ to 5′ deep have accumulated because of the flat terrain and the nearness of the mountains.  The Havemeyers have attempted to plow the roads but the snow is so deep they cannot keep their plow from overturning.
