This Day in History: 1914-02-14

Mrs. Eugene Conklin gave an oyster supper in her home to benefit the Mary C. Bugg Library.  Dinner was served between 6 and 9 at a price of 25 cents.  For an additional 25 cents you could stay for the dancing that followed.  Fifty suppers were served despite the poor weather.
