This Day in History: 1913-06-12
The largest commencement ever held in the Township schools took place in the Lecture Hall of the Reformed Church. The class contained 19 graduates, many of whom are going on to high school or business college next year. The Suffern Orchestra entertained. Principal Pechtal was given a set of books as a farewell gift by Ralph Conklin in the name of the class. Mr. Pechtel is leaving Mahwah. (Bristow)
