The Board of Education opened bids for the two new schools in the District. Mr. A. C. Banta, whose low bid was $1,816.90, was awarded the contract for the new school on the mountain. He will also be given the contract for the Wyckoff school (in Campgaw) when the State Board of Education approves its construction. His low bid for this contract was $2,185.97. (Bristow)
