A Catholic mission was begun in Mahwah for the benefit of the Polish workers at the Brake Shoe Plant. One of the buildings at the works was loaned for the services. About 400 people attended the morning and afternoon services and the religious motion pictures shown in the evening. The mission will be continued. The company has donated two lots to be used for the construction of a church building. Meanwhile a temporary one will be built there. (Bristow)
