This Day in History: 1900-02-22

Mrs. Merritt, concerned over the large number of school children who have no opportunity for a sleigh ride has arranged for a number of sleighs or wagons to come to the Ramsey School to pick up the children for a ride.  The route will be around Mahwah and Darlington.  She is to be congratulated for her public spirit in arranging the outing.  Unfortunately it rained and the ride had to be postponed.
