An entertainment to benefit the Darlington Sunday School included two farces, “The Irish Linen Peddler” acted by James Glasgow and “Rubber Boots”. Musical entertainment, including several songs by Edna Shuart filled the remainder of the program. Admission was ten cents for children and twenty cents for adults. (Bristow)
