Historical Note: The documents were saved by Raymond Dator in a document case. Dator was the township clerk.
Collection Description: The collection provides a window into life in Mahwah in the late 1920s, with residents concerned over road paving and repair, animal control, the relationship of the township to the county, the collection of taxes (including lists of people who have not paid taxes), bus lines, and other matters.
Arrangement Description: Documents are organized by form, and then by date. There are nine folders of correspondence, then folders of agreements, reports, ordinances, petitions, license applications, and resolutions.
