This Day in History: 1922-11-04
New Jersey Supreme Court Justice Charles C. Black turned down the appeal against the plan to flood the Ramapo Valley to provide water for the city of Bayonne, New Jersey. The County of Bergen, the Borough of Oakland and various property holders brought the suit, but in every point, the judge found for the Bayonne plan. The plaintiffs will appeal to the Court of Errors and Appeals and to the N.J. State Legislature. (Bristow)
