Maurice B. Smith Boone died Monday. She was 81 and a member of the Mount Zion A.M.E. Church, Mahwah. She was President of the Missionary Society, a church mother and stewardess board member. For 22 years she served as a delegate to the A.M.E. Zion conference. She was a member of the Spring Valley Chapter of the NAACP. She was survived by six children, eleven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Her husband Curtis died in 1941. (Bristow)
