This Day in History: 1930-10-21
When Mrs. Estabrook complained that there was a man at her Island Road house acting strangely, Chief Smith investigated. He found that the man was “crazy, but not physically violent.” He took him to Suffern where the police said that he came from Ramsey. He took him to the Ramsey Police Chief where he was identified as a shell-shocked World War veteran. (Bristow)
