Mahwah’s first movie theater was opened by John Winter in the Henrietta building. Shows are to be held every Saturday afternoon and evening with dancing to follow the evening performance. The first bill, six reel of film, consisted of “The Seventh Commandment” (3 reels) “Luxurious Lou”, “The White and Black Snow Ball” and “It may be You” (1 reel each).
