Sue Baker talks about Les Paul growing up in Waukesha, Wisconsin and the creative things he did as he explored playing his guitar and entertaining audiences in and around his hometown.
Sue Baker is Program Director with the Les Paul Foundation. As the foundation’s historian, she provides background materials for the development of lesson plans, books, videos and other materials created about Les Paul. Her close friendship with Les facilitates insight to the inventor/entertainer/musician’s accomplishments, challenges and personal philosophy. Sue has been interviewed multiple times on radio (local and national), television and for printed articles. She has given presentations to students from early elementary through the university level as well as to musicians and diverse organizations. Her presentations are adapted for each audience and center around the stories Les Paul shared and additional research.
