Corn, once called maize, is an ancient New World grass, grain, vegetable highly valued by our Native North Americans. Corns was given as a tribute to their gods, used as money, and an important food source. Come learn the fascinating history of corn and its folklore from ancient times to today’s modern farmers in New Jersey who grow the most delicious sweet corn in the nation!
