He termed the conference a great success, except for being delated six guess in his arrival by a train derailment in Maryland. The Bergen County group had breakfast with Congressman Widnall and Osmers, laid a wreath on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, attended a joint-session of Congress/and met with President Eisenhower in the White House. /and a meeting of the Armed Services Committee, They did some sightseeing in their spare time.
