Supervising Principal Harold L. Holmes resigned his post citing the press of other business interests. The Board accepted his resignation with regret and began the search for a successor. Attendance in the schools was announced as below the State average. The most frequently given reasons was poor road conditions and the lack of cafeteria facilities in some schools.
