Gordon Meisse, Chairman of the Building Fund Committee of the Ramapo Reformed Church announced plans for a $40,000 remodeling of the Church school building. New additions were planned for the south (street) side, and new wings added to the west and north sides. A partial second story with a meeting room for the ladies organizations and a balcony for the auditorium was to be added. A new stage and dressing rooms would permit the production of plays. The renovations were expected to double the seating capacity of the auditorium.
