Eighteen members of the Mahwah Public School baseball team were the guests of the New York Giants for a game at the Polo Grounds. Kenneth Linberry made the arrangements. Among those recognized for their contributions to the season were letter winners John Time, Charles Kramer, Mike Borish, Charles Kipp, George Courtney, Nicholas Belowch, Robert Reuhl, Frank Reuhl, Howard Krimsky, William DeGroat, John Kudrich, Walter Klimek and Joseph Lances. Receiving official baseballs for having hit home runs during the season were John Time and Charles Kipp. Also attending the game were five boys who worked hard but did not quite earn a letter: Joseph Mihok, Eddie Chodorowski, Louis Wright, Harry Belowch, and Donald Hardy.
