This Day in History: 1940-02-15

Little Dickie Slade was slightly injured when an ice truck backed into him while he was playing in the snow drifts created by the intense storm outside his Hillside Avenue home.  Since he was forced back into the soft snow he was not seriously hurt.  The doctor prescribed a day or two in bed and he returned to school on Monday the 18th.
