Midnight was the hour that the Polish liner Batory set sail for Gydnya Poland. Among the passengers was Mrs. John Janisiewski of Island Road. She was planning to spend a few months in the land of her birth. Many friends joined her in her cabin for a Bon Voyage Party, including Mrs. Paul Janeske, Mrs. Marcel Knowacki, Helen Janosko, John Krupinski, Stella Sewiock, Pauline Poplaski, Mary and Velma Trusiewicz, Gene Knowacki, Joseph Zak of Passaic, and Mr. and Mr. A.
