This Day in History: 1921-06-17
Strawberries are scarce this summer and sugar has gone up in price to 6 cents a pound. Those who went to the strawberry festival given by the Ladies’ Aid on the porch of the Schoonmaker cottage expected to buy what was left over were disappointed. It was all eaten up and $50 raised for the Ladies’ Aid. (Bristow)
