This Day In History: 1916-01-14
The Three Act Play “Mrs. Tubbs of Shanty Town” was plagued with troubles from the beginning. It was originally scheduled to be given in the New Town Hall by the Ladies Aid Society of the Ramapo Reformed Church. The proceeds were to go to the Parsonage repair fund. Unfortunately illness in the cast led to its postponement until February 2nd. Further illness in the cast led to its indefinite postponement.
