The will of George Crocker probated in Trenton. The financier who died recently of cancer had a large estate in Darlington. He left the bulk of his estate to a George Crocker Special Research fund to be administered by the Trustees of Columbia University. Should a cure for cancer be found the money could be used to construct a building. He heft $100,000 each to a cousin of his step children, Emmy W. Kearny, Alexander Erving and Alexander H. Rutherford.
