General Admission Tickets are $10.00 & will be available at the door
This fall, on Friday, October 1 from 10:00-5:00pm and Saturday, October 2 from 10:00-4:00pm, the Mahwah Museum will be participating in the Bergen County Quilt and Coverlet show, a two-day event highlighting quilts and coverlets made in Bergen County, New Jersey. Eighty quilts and thirty-six coverlets, made between 1800 and 1976, on loan from the collections of thirteen local museums and sixteen private collections, will be on display. This is a rare opportunity to view these fragile textiles. A quilt and coverlet from the Mahwah Museum will be on display. Over the course of the weekend, the show will be featuring a lecture on American quilts by Dana Balsamo, a coverlet tour by Kay Yeomans, a quilt tour by Peggy Norris, and a quilt raffle. Tickets to the show are $10 for general admission ($5 for children 12 and under) or $25 for admission and a tour. Please note that due to ongoing precautions concerning COVID-19, space is limited for tours and lectures and registration is required. General admission tickets will be available at the door.
You can find a full calendar of events, as well as registration instructions, here and, if you are interested in participating in the raffle, you can find the entry form here.
