Old Train Station Open Free of Charge
Open Saturdays April, May, June, September, and October from 1-4 pm
Open Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day Holiday Weekends
The Mahwah Museum Board of Trustees announces that as part of the museum’s recognizing and celebrating the 150th Anniversary of the Mahwah Train Station in 2021, the Old Train Station will be open free of charge for visitors starting on April 10th and for all of the Saturdays following in April, May, June, September & October from 1 to 4 pm. It will also be open for three consecutive days on the Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Labor Day holiday weekends.
All visitors will receive a free 1876 historical map of Mahwah plus a reprint of a 10 page short history of Mahwah which recently appeared in a local magazine.
The Old Station is on Old Station Lane which is adjacent to East Ramapo Avenue – just west of the current train station.
