What’s in Your Attic?
with Cathy Moran Hajo
Saturday, October 16, 2021- Mahwah Museum
Registration Required (see below)
Before historical artifacts and papers make it to the Museum, they live in our basements, attics, file cabinets and closets. What makes a piece of Mahwah history museum-worthy?
Archives director Cathy Moran Hajo will lead a brief discussion of how the museum decides what kinds of artifacts to accept and how they are used for research and exhibits. But we want to share the bulk of the program with you — show us the unique bits of history that you have in your house or on your property. Tell us your families stories about it– where did it come from, who saved it, what does it mean to you? Fill out this form and send photos of your item and your story and we will put together the program for this event.
Cathy Moran Hajo is the vice president and archives director of the Mahwah Museum.
