Ramapo College in Year One- Student Panel


On Saturday November 9 at 11:00 a.m.  Ramapo alumni Cynthia Brennen, Arthur Chill, John Durkin, Nelson Ramirez. Moderated by Charlie Carreras. Part of the Mahwah Museum Lecture Series, the lecture will take place at Mahwah Museum 201 Franklin Turnpike Mahwah, NJ 07430.

This panel of first year Ramapo Students will talk about their first year at Ramapo, what they expected and what they found. You will learn how this group and their classmates helped build this new state experimental college. The challenges faced, and there were many, helped build a sense of community- where many stepped forward to contribute to the final product.

This lecture is hosted by Mahwah Museum, located at 201 Franklin Turnpike Mahwah, NJ 07430.  The Museum reopened for the season on Sept. 22, 2019, featuring these exhibits: A College Comes to Mahwah, Ramapo College 1965-1975, Palisades Amusement Park Comes to Mahwah, and, Mahwah’s His-TREE, 75 years as a township. Permanent exhibits are Les Paul in Mahwah and The Donald Cooper Model Railroad, which is open weekends 1-4 pm.
