COLLECTION SUMMARY: A collection of blueprints for homes in Mahwah that were financed through the Rockland National Bank.

RECEIVED FROM: The materials were deaccessioned from the Suffern Railroad Museum and donated to the Museum by Craig Long, in March 2019.

Collection Details

Biographical / Historical Note:  The Rockland National Bank was established in 1901 as the Suffern National Bank & Trust Company. It merged with the Ramapo Trust Company in 1956 and was renamed the Rockland National Bank. In 1970 it merged to form the Federal County Naitonal Bank. In 1980 it changed its name to the Empire National Bank. In 1980 it merged to the State Bank of New York, in 1989 it merged to form the State Irving Trust Company, and in 1989 it changed its name to the Bank of New York.

Arrangement Description: The blueprints are rolled. .

Separated Materials:  American Brake Shoe and Foundry Company, Quarterly Report, September 30, 1939 were moved to the American Brake Shoe Collection. An embossing stamp for Re-Nu Records, (Midland Park) was deaccessioned.
