On Saturday January 13, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. Lou Pallo, long time friend and supporter of the museum, will be honored as the first recipient of a plaque on our new Music Wall of Fame. This event will take place in the upstairs gallery of the Mahwah Museum. Space is limited; advanced reservations are required. To reserve, email firstname.lastname@example.org or call the museum, 201.512.0099. This is a free event.
Lou Pallo has been a supporter and promoter of the museum for many years. He has given his time and energy to further our programs and exhibits. Lou has always been available to help us when needed. When the Les Paul Foundation agreed to loan the museum important items from Les Paul’s estate Lou agreed to visit the museum and tell stories documenting the history of the Les Paul Trio. As the longest serving member of the trio, he was in a unique position to tell this story. In addition, he has given lectures and gallery talks for our members and visitors. This day is our opportunity to thank him for all that he has done for us, for Jazz, and for the entire music industry. The event will include a ceremony, where we will be mounting Lou’s plaque and with a reception to follow.
