Gallery Talk: Les Paul’s Vintage and Rare Guitars at Mahwah Museum

On Sunday December 2, 2018 at 1:15 p.m. Rik Mercaldi, guitarist and vintage guitar expert will present a gallery talk about the guitars on exhibit in Mahwah Museum. The gallery talk will take place at Mahwah Museum, 201 Franklin Turnpike Mahwah, NJ 07430. Admission is $5, free for museum members. Contact email@example.com for reservations or call 201-512-0099. Rik will talk about the guitars on exhibit in the Les Paul in Mahwah exhibit at Mahwah Museum. These guitars currently include Les’ 1968 Gibson Les Paul Custom, 1998 Gibson Les Paul and his ‘klunker’ from the 1940’s. Others include a Heritage, a Tommy Doyle Gibson Les Paul and a model of Les Paul’s ‘log.’ Rik will discuss how each of these is unique and special.
This gallery talk is hosted by the Mahwah Museum, located at 201 Franklin Turnpike Mahwah, NJ 07430. The Museum is currently featuring the exhibits Kilmer: The Man Kilmer: The War Years, and WWI Part I and WWI Part II. Permanent exhibits are Les Paul in Mahwah and The Donald Cooper Model Railroad, which is open weekends 1-4 pm. The Museum is open weekends and Wednesdays from 1-4 pm.; admission $5 for non-members, members and children are free.
